Interested in seeing the Island? Meeting up with your friends and family? Attending a world-class concert in an informal setting? You are invited to our Visitors Day! It will be Tuesday August 12, 2008. The cost will be $40 ($35 for FAC members) and will cover Round-Trip Ferry, Concert, Visiting Friends & Exploring the Island, Chicken / Hamburger / Veggie Dinner al fresco with cash bar, and Jam Session.
Take the 2:30 ferry from the Thompson Island dock (in South Boston near the Design Center), arriving at Thompson Island at 3:00; the last ferry out is 9:00 pm, arriving in Boston at 9:30. A convenient parking garage is near the South Boston dock.
Visitors MUST register in advance by Friday, August 8th. Phone or email the Folk Arts Center, and send in a check IN ADVANCE with your name, address, along with the form or a note that it is for the Visitors Day at BHSFS. Reservations made after Tuesday August 5th must be made by phone with credit card. Call The Folk Arts Center office at 781-662-7475. Driving directions and parking instructions are available at this website. Please specify if you wish information materials sent by U.S. mail. Cancellations with full refund taken through Friday August 8th. |
